NYMDA Fall Meeting 11/10/17

The New York Medical Director’s Annual Fall Educational Meeting will be held on Friday November 10, 2017 from 7:30AM – 4:30PM. Learning objectives of the program are listed below. CME will be awarded for attendees. Registration fees include course materials, breakfast, lunch, coffee and refreshment breaks. Cancellations will be refunded less a $25 service charge (and any additional eventbrite fees if registration through eventbrite) and must be made prior to 7 days before the meeting. No refunds will be granted after that date. Early registration rate ends on October 27, 2017.

  • Understand the role of Telemedicine in your Skilled Nursing Facility practice
  • Learn current management of urinary tract infections and appropriate antibiotic prescribing.
  • Implement an antibiotic stewardship/QAPI program in your facility with regard to urinary tract infections.
  • Understand the management and special considerations of trauma in the geriatric patient
  • Understand the role of the Medical Director and the “mega” rule
  • Learn appropriate diagnoses for completion of electronic death certificates
