Job Description

South Nassau Communities Hospital has recently affiliated with the Mount Sinai Health System, a trailblazer in research, education, and patient care.  The ideal candidate will have an interest in creating an inpatient consult service primarily involving geriatrics consultation.  Occasional cross coverage in an outpatient geriatrics practice will also be required.


The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care and quality outcomes. In addition, this ambitious and talented physician will be fully committed to building the geriatrics aspect of our new Internal Medicine Residency Program scheduled to begin in July 2019.    South Nassau Communities Hospital is committed to developing innovative programs to support the health of individuals and populations, while also using resources effectively.



Position Qualifications:


Medical Degree from an Accredited University

New York State Medical License

Board Certification or recent graduate of a geriatrics fellowship program is essential

The position would directly report to Dr. Clifford Feiner (Chief, Division of Geriatrics, Department of Medicine at South Nassau Communities Hospital)
