			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Winthrop-University Hospital is seeking a Geriatrician with an interest in transitional and post acute care to join our hospital based faculty in the Division of Geriatric Medicine. The Division of Geriatric Medicine provides an office based practice, an active inpatient and hospital consult service, and off campus clinical service at Assisted Living, Nursing Homes and Hospice facilities.</p>
<p>Located in central Nassau County, this position provides opportunity to train fellows, residents and students and provides an ideal environment for clinical research activities. The Division incorporates the hospital’s Hospice and Palliative Care service and provides leadership in Medical Ethics and Clinical Pharmacology.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will be a board certified fellowship trained Geriatrician with previous sub-acute care experience. Academic affiliation and appointment is with SUNY at Stony Brook, NY.</p>
